Excellent selection. Outstanding customer service. I am a fan! If you don't see something ask the friendly staff. They can even marinade meat for you, so all you need to do is just cook and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Pape Meat is exquisite. High quality meats and the best customer service. It's pricey but fair for what they offer. I love coming here to pick up meat and seafood when I want the highest quality.

This is our go to place for fancy cuts, they have really nicely done dry aged stakes and certified A5 wagyu among other meats. You could also find a nice seafood selection and food pairing drinks. During holidays seasons, there will be a line formed outside of the shop.

Great spot to stock up on your meats and seafood. The guys behind the counter were very helpful and out of courtesy vacuum sealed my meats. Bought me some A5 Japanese Wagyu and it was FREAKISHLY good. Bought some fresh Sea Bass and the butcher even gave me a small extra piece out of courtesy. So cool.....

This review is long overdue. Both the service and quality of the meat at Pape's is top notch. I regularly shop at Whole Foods, but when it comes to meat, if I can find the time to come to Pape's (it's ~15-20 mins' drive for me), I prefer to get my meat from Pape's. It's almost like you can feel the care the Pape's crew took to prepare the meats. I also love it that they cut the meat for you and vacuum seal it, so it's ready-to-cook when I get home. In addition to different meats, different cuts, Pape's also have marinated meats to bring home for cooking. Pape's have some of the very best people! They're friendly and always make you feel so welcome. They're super knowledgeable in cooking of the meats as well, and great at offering advices. - Special shout-out to Brian who helped me with my order yesterday. He not only make the horizontal cut of the spare ribs I asked for (that I was using for a broth), and proactively asked if he should cut the ribs into individual pieces. I wouldn't have thought of it, but that's a great idea, and I took him up on his offer. This saved me a ton of work! - I would be remiss not to mention Ryan (guy in the duck bill hat) who helped me out the prior time I was here. I remember feeling a bit lost amongst other regulars of the shop. He came up to help me with my order (and the sausage he helped me pick out was soooo good in the pasta I made with it!) and helped me feel welcome with his friendly demeanor.

You never would have thought you could get THE BEST tomahawk steak from here, just by driving by - but let me tell you.................................... Pape's is really a gem. What's wonderful is that you don't have to be a five-star chef to cook quality food. Just get your meat here and more than half the work is done. They have seafood, chicken, beef and sausages. A nice wine collection. And if you're mid-run and need to put a last minute charcuterie board together, they have items for that, too! Now, I'm no chef - but I've bought tomahawks here and jesus. The finished product of my meal doesn't fall short of amazing. The quality of this meat, chef's kiss* As recommended by Pape's staff, we put our tomahawk in the oven on low heat for about 40-min (20-min on each side) and then finished it on the grill. So tender, so juicy, it's your melt-in-your-mouth quality meat that will have you coming back to Pape's. *Don't forget to ask for the garlic butter and rosemary! It's free with your purchase!

Pape Meat is such a gem! Yes, there is always a wait, but it's worth it. We've tried calling before too to ask if they have a certain cut of meat, but they don't answer their phones as they're too busy. Their meat is high quality, they will also vacuum seal your meat, and they have marinades to chose from should you like. Not to mention, the prices are very reasonable. We love their bone in pork chops, cheddar wagyu burger patties, and we've shared a ribeye too. They have a wide variety of meats and seafood. The guys here are super friendly and helpful too. But I have to be honest, I just wish there was a separate counter to ring up, since they're also ringing you up after they help you with your meat with the same gloves (just sanitize your credit card afterwards).
